U-pick on Cortils
Since January 2016, a young innovative cooperative from Liège Les Compagnons de la Terre has started agro-ecological market gardening on the Cortils lands. If you go up the road to Mortier, from the car park, you will see the greenhouses on your right. In season, they practice the U-pick ... in front of each board is posted a sign (red = do not pick, green = pick) that will guide you. At the back of the greenhouses, a balance and a price list allow you to pay yourself the bill! The best is to check before your stay, via the link above, which vegetables will be available during your visit.
Some days of the week, depending on the season, they hold a small market on the field. Again, make sure it takes place during your stay.

We ask you to make an active contribution to the environment and help us with the recycling of waste.
Organic garbage can be deposited in the biobag. You can empty the biobag in the green container in front of the rubbish bin in the small car park. Our chickens like stained strawberries, grapes, bananas (without skin) and cooked pasta. You can place this green waste in a container on the stairs that lead to the kitchen garden. The inhabitants of the Cortils will take care of giving them to the chickens.
Most accommodations have garbage cans or you can drop off all plastic wrappers, paper, can, glass and tetra bricks. Sorting this way will reduce the amount of household waste. Thanks for that!
