The Old Chapel (up to 7 people)
The Old Chapel was named after the former chapel that was here on the first floor. In the place of the altar in the apse is now a huge shower in the form of a rose, and finished with tadelakt in the colors of a red rose. The Old Chapel has in terms of view and insolation a unique location. The morning sun on the balcony -a lovely place to have breakfast overlooking the rose garden and the valley and the evening sun on the side of the entrance of the castle, in the extension of the driveway and forecourt. In the adjacent compact but reasonably well equipped kitchen there is also housed a second shower. On the other side of the dining room is the sitting area with six comfortable seats and a fireplace stove. The crockery cupboard also contains a simple music system. To be able to host seniors, there is also a good quality sofa bed placed here for seniors who are infirm. In combination with the ground-floor shower this ground floor could be rented for two people in the midweek.
The stairs to the first floor opens onto a porch with former chapel doors, which now provide access to a double bedroom with comfortable single beds. Through this room you go to the bathroom where besides the roses shower a toilet and washbasin are present. A second portal gives access to a second bedroom on this floor. Two giant monastery beds adorn this room. Both bedrooms are located on the east side of the park. The birdsong and the murmur of the brook try to be your alarm clock.
One floor up, the attic with four small dormers and traces of medieval construction, is ideal to withdraw in silence for an afternoon nap. Here, under the acoustically well-insulated roof you experience the silence.
